Our Speaker: Dr. Kristine Braman has been a Professor with the University of Georgia, Department of Entomology since 2001. Her research focus is on the ecology and management of insect pests of turf and ornamental plants. She co-authored several of the chapters in the Georgia Master Gardener Handbook, including Basic Entomology, Diagnosing Plant Problems: Ornamentals and Turf, and Diagnosing Fruit and Vegetable Problems. Her research at the Georgia Mountain Research & Education Center includes evaluation of forty-one Crepemyrtle varieties and evaluation of Canna Lilies for insect resistance.
