Linda Chafin, Conservation Botanist, Science and Conservation Program, State Botanical Garden of Georgia, University of Georgia. Georgia is one of the most species-rich states in the country, with more than 4000 plants. Linda will talk about the "wild gardens" that grace Georgia's many natural communities, with an emphasis on those found in the Southern Blue Ridge.
