BEGINNER BEAD WEAVING- Class Limit 10 – Starts 9/20 (Wednesdays 1:10-3:10 p.m. for 8 weeks) by Beth Arnold

Bead weaving is an age old art dating back to the American Indian and beyond.  Bead weaving is not bead stringing.  Students will learn one of the many bead weaving stitches to make a lovely and wearable bracelet.  Materials will be furnished and necessary tools available for your use in the classroom.  It is recommended to bring a pair of magnifying glasses if you have them.  In beginner classes Beth will strive to have a bead sized so you can enjoy the experience.  A materials fee of $12 will be collected the first day of class.

Beth is a self taught enthusiast for this art form since 2006.  She has taught bead weaving at Oasis since 2009.  She continues to enjoy sharing her knowledge of bead weaving with others in the community.
