Brenda Hull teaches Bread, No Mystery
Event Description:
BREAD:  NO MYSTERY… REALLY – Class Limit - 15
Everyone loves the smell of warm bread from the oven, especially with butter.  There really is no mystery to making bread, it just takes practice.  We'll make pizza dough, sourdough, whole wheat and whole grain breads and anything else we have time for.  We'll even give you a try at flatbreads.  Come prepared to roll up your sleeves and get up to your elbows in flour.   Bring a large bowl and a bread pan, if you have them.  A material fee of $20 for ingredients will be collected on the first day of class.  And, of course, we'll eat our experiments!

Brenda Hull taught general biology, ecology, conservation biology, herpetology, marine science, invertebrate zoology, ornithology, biogeography and organic gardening at Young Harris College.  She enjoys gardening on her farm in Clay County NC where she raises chickens and turkeys and plays with her horses and dogs.  She believes strongly in the Local Foods movement and the small farms projects going on around the country.  After retiring from YHC after 20 years, she cooks, gardens and raises heritage pigs.
