Name: ICL: It's a Mad, Mad World – Starts 7/18 (Tuesdays 10:00-12:00 p.m. for 5 weeks)
Date: July 25, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
(NOTE: This class is an update of Bob’s popular abnormal psychology classes taught previously at ICL and TCCC).
Many of us have had general psychology classes, but we will take a deeper look into both the light and the dark sides of abnormal psychology. When does fascination become an obsession? I like things arranged in an orderly fashion; am I OCD? I’m very proud of my accomplishments; does that make me a narcissist? Someone I know is very controlling; is he a sociopath? When does a quirk become a personality disorder?  We face psychological challenges on a daily basis; sometimes things go wrong. During this five-week course we will share an overview of aberrations which affect our interrelationships.
Bob Grove holds a Master of Science degree with emphasis on the sciences and psychology. He taught in the public school system for 17 years before starting his own business. Now retired, he enjoys writing, folk dancing, and drumming.
ICL Classroom at Young Harris College.
