WINDOWS 10 WORKSHOP  (Class limit 15) By Art Frenz
 
In this course we will be demonstrating some of the most common features of Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition operating system graphical user interface. We will touch on a few of the imbedded applications such as web browser and email. We will discuss and explain some of the current tech terminology and functions such as upload, download, attach and install.  We will demonstrate how to create a complete system backup (System Image) and Recovery.
 
You are encouraged to bring your laptop computer. You should arrive early if you plan to connect to and use the classroom WiFi.  We will not spend any time on tablets or smart phones. Part of each session will be reserved for questions and answers. Hopefully, this interactive dialogue will be educational for all of us.
 
Art’s professional background was computer technology, software development and support. He retired to the “Top of Georgia” in 2009 and remains a technology enthusiast. His hobby now is to learn more about multi-vendor platforms, including free and open source for Linux and Microsoft.
