Vineyards

Blairsville is fortunate to be the home of a generous collection of distilleries, wineries, and vineyards, all of which make a great addition to your itinerary during your stay.

The Grandaddy Mimms Moonshine Distillery has roots in the area dating back to the 1930s, producing small-batch, handcrafted moonshine with deep, rich flavors renowned for their high quality.

Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Hightower Creek Vineyard is known for incorporating French and Native American hybrid grape cultures, as well as mixing Old World vinifera such as pinot gris and merlot.

Known for its broad spectrum of grapes, Crane Creek Vineyards in Young Harris sits high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, giving it a beautiful view. Additionally, the winery’s Stone House Tasting Room is popular not only with visitors, but also with locals making for the perfect place to enjoy food, wine, and friends.

Odom Springs Vineyard offers a variety of services aside from wine tastings and the vineyard itself. This vineyard’s mountain lodge holds its own distinctive history. The 1975 log cabin, accommodating up to 12 guests, was the childhood home of the owners of Odom Spring Vineyards. With many activities awaiting such as fishing, hiking the Appalachian Trail, or relaxing on the porch, there’s something for everyone at Odom Springs Vineyards.

The vineyard is hosting a special Valentine’s Day chocolate and wine pairing event. Learn more about our V-Day events here.
