DESCRIPTION:In this two day workshop\, you will learn and explore the many ways color can be used to create a dynamic design\, to lead the viewer's eye through a painting\, to create mood and atmosphere\, to tell an emotional story\, and to make a poetic statement. Day One of this workshop will include a slideshow presentation\, a demonstration\, and color studies. Day Two will be for creating a dynamic painting by applying the techniques and knowledge gained from Day One. Pinnick will do a short demonstration of how to start a new painting by planning a color temperature map within her design. Students will be working from a photograph supplied.
