DESCRIPTION:On Saturday afternoon of the competition\, teams will bring their fresh Boston butts\, ribs\, beef brisket\, sauce ingredients and cooking equipment to the Farmers Market\, and will serve up some of the best BBQ in these mountains. The competition meat\, sides\, and sauces will be judged by a local panel and voting for Blairsville's Best BBQ 2022/ Peoples Choice Award will be open to anyone who has purchased a "Tasters Ticket." \n\nTrophies for the Blairsville's Best BBQ will be given to those winners at 6:45pm Saturday night.\n\n \n\nStick around for music by "Nathan Morgan" and classic cars from the Blairsville Cruisers Car Club\, and\, of course\, BBQ. "Taster tickets" will be available for $5 each and will allow you to sample BBQ from each of the contestants and will be your voting ballot. Only those that purchase "taster tickets" will be able to cast their vote for Blairsville's Best BBQ. \n\n\n\nBBQ plates will be available for purchase from many of the contestants.\n\n \n\nThe Blairsville BBQ Cook-Off is hosted by the Blairsville-Union County Chamber of Commerce and a portion of the profits will be donated to a local food pantry in Blairsville.
