The homes are set among breathtaking landscapes only found in the North Georgia mountains and feature unique and diverse architectural and building styles. These scholarships are made possible through parade attendee ticket purchases\, as well as sponsorships and donations from dozens of businesses and organizations.\n\n\n\nLast year's parade helped the organization award $220\,000 in scholarships to 22 local students representing Gilmer\, Fannin\, Pickens and Union counties (GA)\, and Polk County (TN)\, bringing the total sum awarded to $830\,000 since the first scholarship was given in 2019. In 2023\, the parade featured the first collaboration between students and builders\, resulting in the construction of a home that was sold during the parade. Proceeds from the sale went towards providing scholarships for next year\, with additional funds being placed into an endowment\, ensuring long-term scholarship opportunities for countless students in the future. This year\, we will be featuring the second Scholarship House\, which will also be for sale during this year's Parade.\n\n\n\nTo purchase tickets to this year's event\, visit www.blueridgeparadeofhomes.com
