DESCRIPTION:A Family-Friendly Event for Elves of All Ages!\n\nTaking place on the first Saturday of December\, Christmas on the Square has become an annual event that kids of all ages look forward to!\n\nFrom 3:00pm - 5:00pm there will be photos with Santa at the Historic Courthouse on the Square\, activities for kids like ornament painting and games\, caroling and the tree-lighting\, and of course  our night-time parade starting at 6:00pm.\n\nTruly an event that the entire community gets behind\, Christmas on the Square is a great way to spend an evening and is sure to create memories for years to come.\n\nHeld on the same Saturday\, the Bairsville-Union County Chamber of Commerce and United Community Bank host "Holly\, Jolly Christmas"\, which features breakfast with Santa\, games\, a small train for kids to ride and photos with Santa.  Later on that same day\, the Union County Farmers Market hosts the "Kris Kringle Market" that offers a wide variety of crafts\, activities for kids and of course Santa.
