DESCRIPTION:I want to urge everyone to join my FaceBook group to stay better informed of current line dance events in the Blairsville area\, since things are always changing and being added. You can search for BLAIRSVILLE COMMUNITY LINE DANCE. IT'S TIME TO START LOOKING FOR THOSE BOOGIE SHOES. LIKE IT OR HATE IT\, DISCO MUSIC IS GOING TO OVERTAKE THE DANCE FLOOR ON JUNE 14th AT THE CIVIC CENTER. I PLAN ON TEACHING A GREAT AGENDA OF EASY DISCO DANCES EARLY IN THE EVENING\, THEN REALLY GETTING SOME MOVES ON AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSES FOR THE HARDIER DANCERS. MIXED IN WILL BE MANY OPEN DANCES FOR SOME FREESTYLE MOVES OR TRY THE CHALLENGE OF SONG SWITCHES TO THOSE DANCES YOU ALREADY KNOW. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW !!! THIS IS A THEMED EVENT NOT TO BE MISSED. 6:30   9:00 (doors open at 6:00) THERE WILL BE OPEN DANCE FROM 6:00   6:30. *AN EVENING OF FUN\, MUSIC and DANCE* Admission: $5.00 at the door to defray costs. ***There will be line dance instruction all night long*** Join in and learn to line dance or bring your honey and do your own "thing" to some great\, good ole music. The 70s music is back. Love it or hate it\, we are celebrating it all over again. Start now working on your Travolta moves. We are going to have a groovy time all night long. All music is conducive to freestyle dance. There will be a few slow songs mixed in for the couples to relive that "dirty dancing" era. You are welcome to bring your own food and (non-alcoholic) drinks for those times when you are ready to rest your feet !! We kindly request that you refrain from wearing perfume since several dancers are sensitive to "synthetic fragrances" Still so many questions??
