DESCRIPTION:Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) in Union County will dedicate to Union County 7 flag pols and 7 flags. The pols are located in front of the Major Leon Davenport Veterans center. All veterans are welcome as is the public. It should be a memorable event for the county. One you will not want to miss.  Due to limited parking I suggest you park in the park and ride( behind McDonalds) and walk  to the ceremony across the street. Some seating will be provided for handicapped \, but it is suggest you bring your own seat if you need one. Presentation will be 30 to 45 min long. \n\n\n\nThe pols and flags  represent the 5 branches of military service\, the state flag\, the POW flag\, and the US flag. Maintenance of the flags will be the responsibility of the VSOs.\n\nThey present an awesome site upon entering Blairsville and we believe they will come a landmark to the entrance to the city.
