DESCRIPTION:The John C. Campbell Folk School's Annual Fireside Sale has long been known for showcasing quality fine crafts from local and regional artisans. This year's Fireside Sale will take place Saturday\, December 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This increasingly popular event invites shoppers to support local merchants during the holiday shopping season.\n\nEnjoy the ambiance of live holiday music and a crackling fire as you shop for artful treasures in our beautifully decorated Keith House and visit the artists in Davidson Hall (next to the Craft Shop).\n\nCraftspeople will offer handmade items such as jewelry\, weaving\, forged iron\, photography\, quilts and turned wood. You are sure to find special\, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts here!\n\nAlso\, our Craft Shop will be offering 15% off during the Fireside Sale. The 15% off sale will last through Christmas Eve. Shop for handmade gifts made by local and regional artists in a variety of media including jewelry\, fiber\, wood items\, forged metal\, pottery\, and more.\n\nBe sure to check out other seasonal Folk School events such as Bob Grove's reading of a Christmas Carol\, Brasstown Ringers Concert\, and the Kid's Christmas Party.
