DESCRIPTION:Have you ever gazed up at the night sky and wondered what was "out there"? Now's your chance to view Brasstown Bald's scenic vista in a whole new light or dark!\n\nFIND Outdoors is partnering with Atlanta Astronomy Club at the highest point in Georgia to discover the hidden mysteries of Georgia's darkest sky. Expert astronomers will guide participants through the night\, interpreting the wonders of the universe through their galactic stories and expertise. You will also be given the opportunity to use high powered telescopes to explore our universe even further. You'll become a "Guardian of the Galaxy" after spending an evening learning about the magic of deep space and North Georgia's incredible nightscape.\n\nFIND Outdoors is excited to welcome you to Brasstown Bald and experience North Georgia like you have never!\nWHAT TO BRING\n\nIf you have one\, please bring a flashlight. Red-light flashlights are preferred.\n\nPlease dress warm and wear close-toed shoes. It is often 10-15 degrees cooler on the mountain. We recommend wearing layers\, blankets\, hats\, and gloves. If you do not need them you can leave them in your vehicle.\n\nBring a folding chair to sit on during the program. A folding or lawn chair would be more comfortable to sit on than a blanket.
