DESCRIPTION:The Union County Development Authority and the Blairsville-Union County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Union County Schools and North Georgia Technical College invite you to breakfast to learn about important workforce development initiatives that can benefit your business and help the next generation of workers in Union County through the Great Promise Partnership\, the Work Based Learning Program and the WIA Summer Youth Program.\n\nPlease join us for the Work for the Future event at \n\n7:30 - 8:45 am\n\nNovember 18\, 2014\n\nNorth Georgia Technical College\n\n121 Meeks Ave\, Blairsville\, GA 30512\n\n\n\nAs members of the Union County team you have several options:  1) Establish a GPP\, WBL or WIA worksite using proven and successful processes including possible wage subsidies that provide both profit for you and benefit for our youth. 2) Help with the "blocking and tackling" fundamentals of life skills and mentoring. 3) Provide financial support to help with logistics.\n\n \n\nIn choosing any of these options\, you will be implementing the solution to keeping our youth in school\, building a bridge to success and creating a skilled workforce in your community.\n\n \n\nThe Sawmill Place will be serving a full country breakfast so come enjoy the hospitality!
