DESCRIPTION:JOIN US SATURDAY MARCH 2! We are throwing a PARTY to celebrate thru hikers as they begin to start their North Bound journeys to Maine. \n\nThis year's fun includes live music\, a s'mores making station and hotdogs on the grill\, games and so much more!\n\nWe will hold a gear raffle benefiting the Georgia Appalachian Trail Committee (GATC). Gear will include anything from daypacks\, hydropacks\, clothing\, water bottles\, cookware and much\, much more. Raffle Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at Mountain Crossings\, on the day of the event or by mailed checks. It is not necessary to be present to win.\n\nWe will also have numerous outdoor vendors that will have their own booths and prizes! Stay tuned for a list of those vendors!\n\nCome join Mountain Crossing at the historic Walasi-Yi Center for a day in the mountains and celebrating the vibrant culture of the Appalachian Trail!\n\nOUR PARKING LOT IS VERY SMALL!
