DESCRIPTION:Mountain Crossings invites you to join in kicking off the 2015 thru hiker season with a family fun celebration! We will have live music\, gear demonstrations\, good food\, face painting\, arts and crafts\, and so much more. Special guest Richard Judy\, author of Thru An Application Trail Love Story\, will also be joining us for a book signing.  As well as all of the exciting activities listed above\, we will be having a gear raffle! 100% of the proceeds go to a project illustrating the history of the A.T. and C.C.C in Union County. The project will include traveling and permanent displays of photos\, records\, recollections\,and history pertaining to the Appalachian Trail and Civilian Conservation Core.
