Lake Chatuge is facing a dire threat from an invasive aquatic weed known as &ldquo\;Parrot Feather.&rdquo\; This insidious plant has rapidly spread across an estimated 275 square acres of the lake\, posing a significant risk to its delicate ecosystem and recreational activities. Without immediate intervention\, the situation will only worsen leading to potentially devastating consequences for our community and its natural resources.

Donations for this cause will be tax deductible as Mountain True is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
\n\nThe funds raised during this event will go directly to Save Lake Chatuge\, in partnership with MountainTrue\, who is leading the charge to combat this invasive species through a targeted and environmentally responsible plan to manage and treat the Parrot Feather infestation.
\n\nOur goal for the evening is $10\,000\, \;but with your generosity\, we hope to exceed this target and make a significant impact in protecting Lake Chatuge for future generations.
