DESCRIPTION:Spring the gaps on an awesome 23 mile tune up ride to be ready for the Six Gap in the fall.\n\n \n\nThe Georgia Mountain Metric Century ride will roll through the countryside of Union County\, Ga over the "big 3 gaps" - Hog Pen\, Unicoi & Jacks gap\, in reverse!\n\n \n\nGeorgia Mountain Metric Century Bike Ride\n\nSaturday\, May 21\, 2016\n\nUnion County\, Georgia\n\n \n\nThis ride is such a great opportunity to boost our local tourism and economy. It was reported that the Six Gap Century Bike Ride brought Dahlonega 2\,426 cyclists from 30 states and 4 countries for a $1.35 million economic impact in 2013. This ride will be marketed throughout the Southeast by Epic Sports Marketing\, Active.com\, and Georgia Bikes.\n\n \n\nSponsors are needed! There are four different sponsorship levels available to choose from. We have our first four sponsors\, but we still need your help!  We are seeking monetary donations\, along with food\, drinks\, goody bags for the riders\, and more. The proceeds from the race will come back to Union County to help create bike trails in our area.
