DESCRIPTION:TRICOUNTY WOMEN'S CONNECTION LUNCHEON FEATURES HERBALIST KARIN RUTISHAUSER Ladies\, join us for an interesting and inspiring afternoon with our Special Program Guests: Feature Karin Rutishauser\, owner of The Herb Crib\, and Speaker Debbie Powell who will share her walk-through life's difficult circumstances. Longhorn's famous Parmesan Chicken is our delicious entree served with mashed potatoes\, broccoli\, bread\, dessert\, and tea. Next comes door prizes! All this takes place on Wednesday\, April 16\, 2025\, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Pat Haralson Memorial Civic Center\, 165 Wellborn Road\, Blairsville. Doors open at 11:15am. Invite a friend or two   they will be glad you did! Our Feature Guest\, Karin was born and raised in Germany. Karin and husband\, Cliff\, visited the North Georgia mountains in 1994 and fell in love with the area. In 1996 they purchased an old farmhouse in Track Rock Valley with a small garden of lavender and rosemary which sparked Karin's interest in growing herbs. Since it opened in 2001\, The Herb Crib has been Karin's passion and joy. How can we become "Better Not Bitter" when life's ups and downs challenge us? Guest Speaker Debbie Powell will share how she made that decision in her 20's. Debbie has diverse backgrounds ranging from Social Work\, catering\, cake decorating and Information Technology. Born in Arkansas\, Debbie and her family spent time in Texas. Then in 1996\, Debbie and husband Michael moved to Griffin\, Georgia. She is retired and loves being involved in her community.
