DESCRIPTION:"THE PINK MARBLE PALACE" ONE OF GEORGIA'S TOP PLACES TO VISIT The TriCounty Women's Connection is excited to welcome owner and General Manager Marsha Mann to share the Tate House story at our Ladies Luncheon on Wednesday\, October 15\, 12:00-2:00pm. Listed as the Pink Palace in the National Register of Historic Places\, the Tate House is a 19\,000 square foot elegant and romantic pink marble mansion located 45 minutes from Atlanta. Named one of the top "must see" places in Georgia by Georgia Magazine and one of "Georgia's Most Gorgeous Wedding Venues" by The Venue Report\, the Tate House is one of the most photographed homes in Georgia and one of the most popular North Georgia Special Events Venues. The venue is the Pat Haralson Civic Center\, 165 Wellborn Street\, Blairsville. Doors open for guests' check-in at 11:15. Guests will have a choice between two entrees   Beef Stroganoff and Gravy or Chicken Parmesan\, both served with egg noodles\, side salad\, bread\, dessert\, tea and water. Next\, it's time for giveaways and some lucky ladies will win a door prize. Our program concludes with our Guest Speaker Elaine Epps. Elaine grew up in upstate New York as an unwanted little girl\, full of fear and a lack of acceptance. She shares her story of how she was going the wrong way on a one-way street. Elaine has family ties in Clay County and has fallen in love with the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina. Now retired from a career that spanned 30 years in sales\, recruiting and volunteer management\, Elaine\, with her husband Larry\, live in Griffin and she's become an avid Georgia Bulldog fan!
