SUMMARY:UCHS Spanish Club's Foreign Language Festival
DESCRIPTION:On March 27th\, 2015\, the UCHS Spanish Club will present our first Foreign Language Festival. The Spanish Language and Culture will be showcased through a variety of activities including song\, dance\, arts and crafts\, and food. It is our hope to inspire a greater appreciation of Culture and Diversity within our community by providing fun instructional and educational opportunities to the Primary and Elementary students of Union County Schools. Currently\, the Spanish Club has 34 members. These students are wonderful young men and women who are eager to interact and teach younger children\, while building excitement for their future. As a club\, we envision a yearly opportunity for this type of learning experience across multiple schools and grade levels. We hope that you will consider allowing your child to participate in this year?s festival. We have arranged transportation for students who are participating in the first session. Mr. Garrett will transport them from the Primary and Elementary Schools to the High School on the UCS Round-Trip Bus. The bus will begin picking these students up at 3:10. Parents and guardians are responsible for picking up their children at the UCHS Gymnasium at the end of the registered session.
