2nd Annual Shamrock Dulcimer Blast
As part of the 2nd Annual Shamrock Dulcimer Blast, which is hosted by the Union County Historical Society, and sponsored by the local dulcimer NGFDA satellite group, Mountain Sounds, there will be a concert at the old courthouse on Friday, March 9th at 7:00 pm.
The main attraction will be Anne Lough. She is a premier traditional musician with over 35 years experience in performance and teaching with many recordings and books. Anne is equally at home on the mountain dulcimer, autoharp, hammered dulcimer and guitar. Opening the concert will be Mountain Sounds followed by another dulcimer group, Sweet Mountain Music.
There is no admission charge for concerts held in the Old Courthouse on the Square. Voluntary donations to the maintenance fund are always welcomed and appreciated.
