The Kiwanis Club Fair in Blairsville returns April 26 to May 1.
The Fair will be held at the Union County Industrial Park near the airport. The fair, back for a third year, will consist of multiple rides ranging from the traditional carousel to kiddies rides.
The fair has added these new events:
Daily - A Petting Zoo for the kids
Tuesday - 4-H Club Poster & Public Speaking Contest
Thursday - Cattle Show
Friday - Blue Grass Music, "Jeeps Over the Mountain Jamboree", Old Time Tractor & Antique Equipment Show
Saturday - RIcky Davenport and the Sundown Band,
also hometown boy Tommy Townsend, performing in Nashville
Saturday, April 30 - 7am - 12noon
One big attraction added to the Fair this year is the Youth Expo, free to children 6 - 16 years old
Added to the Fair:
Archery, Skeet Shooting, Black Powder Guns, Fly and Bass Fishing, ATV Safety Training, Tree Stand Safety, Air Rifle and BB Gun Shooting, GPS Training, and Outdoor Wildlife Events.
The Blairsville Kiwanis Club supports more than 20 youth projects in Union County.
The Kiwanis Club of Blairsville is dedicated to serving and supporting young people in the
immediate area around Blairsville through numerous projects.
