The Union County Farmer’s Market Flower Show Committee is proud to announce the 3^rd Annual Farmer’s Market Flower Show to be held at the Haralson Memorial Civic Center Auditorium, Blairsville one block off the historic square on 185 Welborn Street.

Entries will be accepted on Thursday, August 18^th from 12 (Noon) to 3 PM; Judging will take place from 3 – 5 PM and will be closed to the public at this time.

The show will be open to the public on Friday, August 19^th  from 9 AM – 3 PM and again on Saturday, August 20^th from 9 AM – 2:30 PM. 

Entries must be picked up on Saturday from 2:30 -3 PM only.

We will not have a design division this year.  However our Horticulture Divisions will be accepting entries in Section A - Flower – Cut Specimen (Grown for: bloom or foliage, herbs-medicinal; herbs-culinary & herbs – aromatic or decorative);  Section B – Trees/Shrubs – Cut Specimen (broadleaf evergreen, needled or coniferous evergreen, fruited or flowering branches or grown for foliage).  Section C – Container Plants – (Grown for bloom; Grown for foliage; Multiple plantings; Herbs-Medicinal; Herbs-Culinary & Herbs-Aromatic or Decorative; Section D – Hanging Containers – (Grown for bloom, Grown for foliage & Multiple plantings; Section E – Native Plants – (Grown for bloom – cut specimen, Grown for foliage – cut specimen; Trees/Shrubs – cut specimen; Container grown – Flowers and Container grown – foliage); Section F – Bonsai – (Broadleaf Evergreen; Needled or coniferous evergreen; Fruited or flowering and Any other worthy-named Bonsai);

We will have Youth Divisions – Preschool – Age 7, Ages 8 – 12 and Ages 13 – High School for Cut Specimens of flowers or foliage and Container Grown flowers or foliage.

Copies of the Sections/Classes sheets described above, as well as entry cards, will be available for you ahead of time.  You can pick up this information at the Union County's Commissioner's Office, The Extension Office, The Chamber of Commerce.

Your entries must be healthy and disease free and have been in your possession for more than 90 days prior to the show.
