4th of July Lake Nottely Boat Parade

The Lake Nottely Boat Parade begins at Nottely Marina, located on Hwy 19/129N.(Murphy Hwy)
The Best Decorated Boat Contest will be held again this year, and the theme is "Anything Goes". Boats by families, friends, clubs, church groups, anybody can decorate a boat in any style. Imaginations are rewarded with trophies.
Boats are judged on creativity, presentation and participation. Judging is done while the boats parade around the marina in the no wake zone, so everyone on land, in the water and along the highway can see them.
Judging begins at 11:00am and trophies will be given out at Noon. There are several winners and a grand prize trophy.
Spectators are asked not to go on the marina to watch the parade because of ongoing repairs after storm damage.

Immediately following the boat parade and decorating contest the marina will have entertainment on the lawn with the "Modern Vinyl Band".
