In 1988 the Rock Hall inducted originals Bill Pinkney, Clyde McPhatter, and Gerhart Thrasher, along with subsequent member Ben E. King, Charlie Thomas, Rudy Lewis, and Johnny Moore - the seven significant contributors to The Drifters’ legacy.
