“GUILD MEMBER JULI SIBLEY TO SIGN HER NEW BOOKLET”
 
HIAWASSEE, GA ---The Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild is pleased to announce that Juli Sibley has published her most recent booklet with 11 of her own original illustrations from her batiks, collages, watercolors, acrylics and hand colored silk screens on fabric and paper.
 She will be available for a book signing on Saturday, October 22 from 4-6 p.m. at ArtWorks.

The publication is a series of personal reflections about nature and our Divine Relationships with ourselves, with others and the natural world.  Titled “All That Matters”, limited quantities are available for sale at ArtWorks Artisan Center in downtown Hiawassee, located behind the Holiday Inn Express. The store is open from 9-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Copies sell for $20.00.
            Sibley is a 25-year member of the teaching faculty of the John C. Campbell Folk School and writes for the Folk School blog as well as the “Jackson Lake Sun”.  This is Sibley’s second book. The first titled “Kitchen Table Magic” is one of four volumes planned on techniques and ideas for a complete compendium on dying, printing and painting with one earth-friendly product.  The first is a 57 page manual with 37 full color illustrations.
Sibley has her Master of Fine Arts from the Western Carolina University
            Additionally, Sibley’s media works are on display now at ArtWorks through October 22 . She also has packets of greeting cards at the shop.
Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild Inc. is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1988 to promote and encourage arts and crafts in the mountain region. The Guild has over 70 members, many of which also teach classes to adults and children and sell their handcrafted items in ArtWorks, the Guild’s non profit retail outlet store in Hiawassee that opened in 2006. The store is located at 308 Big Sky Drive, behind the Holiday Inn Express.
