Southern Gospel music has always been Brian Free's first love, and fans have responded to his music by honoring him and the group, Assurance with multiple awards including Favorite Male Singer, Favorite Tenor (record of eight times), Favorite Young Artist (twice), Favorite Horizon Group, Favorite Album (4 God So Loved), and most recently, they received a Dove Awards for Southern Gospel Recorded Song, "Long As I Got King Jesus." Those accolades show the great response to the group's music, how God has used them, and how he will continue to use them. While the guys all come from different backgrounds, they all agree on one thing, and that is to use their God-given abilities to take the message of Jesus Christ to everyone they can.

The Talleys have become one of the most beloved and respected groups in Christian music. The east Tennessee family's unmistakable style of progressive southern gospel has kept them at the forefront of gospel music for many years with their lush arrangements, close-knit harmonies and powerful vocals. They have enjoyed 10 number one singles, with 2 streaks of consecutive chart-toppers. Their most awarded, recognizable and requested songs include such hits as "Searchin'," "The Healer," "I Love The Lord." Their songs and recordings have received awards and nominations from the Dove Awards, Singing News Fan Awards, the Southern Gospel Music Guild Harmony Honors, the BMI Awards and SGN Music Awards.
