Join us for a hands-on, intergenerational morning in Hinton’s Educational Tool Barn, where kids and the grown-ups who love them can create together, learn together, and discover ways we can help care for our homes and our neighbors.

 Saturday, November 7  9:00 AM–Noon

Hinton Educational Tool Barn

Ages 6+

Children must attend with a parent, grandparent, guardian, or other adult.

CHOOSE A PROJECT:

Each young builder will choose one project to create (assemble, sand, paint/stain) and take home:

• Wooden Christmas Tree
• Serving Tray
• Birdhouse

EXPLORE + LEARN:
Along the way, families will visit interactive stations throughout the Tool Barn to pick up practical skills for creating safer, healthier homes, including:

• Cleaning dryer vents
• Fall-prevention ideas
• Checking and changing household filters
• And more!

You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at how Hinton serves our neighbors through our Safe & Healthy Home Repair Program, Firewood Ministry, and Christmas Care of Clay County.

Because Building Together is about more than what we make with our hands. It’s about building skills, safer homes, relationships across generations, and stronger communities.
