Scott Russell has been a significant caller, musician and organizer on the Atlanta contra dance scene for many years. He's featured in the Learn to Contra Dance series on Youtube.
The Clifton Road String Band features some of the finest and most versatile musicians in the Atlanta area: Jan Smith (of the Rosin Sisters), Mick Kinney (frequent musical collaborator with Elise Witt) and John Anderson (of Peavine Creek and the Dots)
Beginners, singles and couples welcome.
Beginners should come promptly at 8 pm, since we start with easier dances and more teaching.
