Part of our twice monthly community dance series.
Caller Charley Harvey began dancing in Berea Kentucky over twenty five years ago. He has called dances far and wide, teaching American dance in Denmark and leading local dances and dance weekends throughout the eastern US. Charley's enthusiasm is contagious!!
Cross Town Traffic plays a mix of New-England style and old-time Appalachian tunes. Their singular sound comes from the traditional Irish combination of fiddle (Mike Robinson), wooden flute (Bill Porter), and mandolin (Brian Donohue), lifted by the driving guitar of Brian Baker. CTT keeps the dancers’ engines humming and the floor traffic zooming.
Beginners, singles and couples welcome.
Beginners should come promptly at 8 pm, since we start with easier dances and more teaching.
