Decorative Felting Class

Learn many felting techniques as we learn to make decorative felted elements to enhance & finish other felted, knitted, woven or crocheted items.  We start by learning to wet felt and make a larger then life petunia flower pin. Then we learn to make both wet felted and needle felted beads and flowers.  We finsih the day by starting a 3-D needle felted belt buckle. (buckle not included, we begin the top felted part that can be glued to a belt buckle base once finished).  All directions and a resource page where to find matierals and other inspirational things will be emailed to you following the class.
 
Class begins at 10:30 am with hot coffee/tea and pastry as we go over the different felting techniques and different wools and matiereals that can be used in felting.  We will then walk to our felting studio, visiting with the alpacas on our way.

A gourmet farm to table style lunch is served around 1:OO pm.  

All matierals are included. Directions and resource pages are provided via email following the class. 

We will visit the store/gallery where a glass bead making demo is done upon request folowing the class.

This is great thing to do with a group of friends.  Can't make this class date, but have at least four friends that may be interested in taking a class?  We can schedule the class for any time...weekday, Sunday, what ever works best.
