Saturday August 26th is the day you will want to be in downtown Blairsville. You and your pup can participate in a fun dog parade around the downtown courthouse, attend a free/low cost dog vaccination clinic for dogs and for cats, free microchipping for dogs and cats, walk around special pet related booths and vendors and participate in a raffle for great prizes. Don’t have a pup? There will be dogs there looking for their perfect forever family.

The Dog Days of Summer benefit the non profit organization Safe Pet Project in support of their programs which rescue and coordinate veterinary care and community services to save and improve the lives of our mountain dogs and cats.
