Earth Day is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by joining us in a county-wide trash clean up competition! Show off your team spirit and come out on April 20th with your entire crew. The top 3 teams that collect the most trash wins some fabulous prizes! Let's do our part for planet earth and make this Earth Day one to remember while bringing back our county to its pristine condition!
The competition kicks off at 8am at Grandaddy Mimm's Distilling Co. Meet us there to get your gloves, vests, bags, etc. before heading out to fill your bags. A free hotdog and hamburger lunch will be available at 1pm for those participating. Judging and awards will take place at 1pm at Grandaddy Mimm's.
$1,000 Blairsville Bucks Gift Card - 1st place

A simple release of liability will need to be signed by participants before heading off into the community. Children under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult and parents will need to also sign the waiver. You can clean up any location of your choice inside of Union County. For a bag to be counted it must be 3/4 of the way full and tied. Big items that will not fit in bags will be counted as one bag.
