Bonnie Carol sings and plays hammered and fretted dulcimers as well as African marimba, bodhrán, folk drums and hand percussion. A performance is likely to encompass traditional music from North and South America, the British Isles, Caribbean rhythms, and even Tex-Mex tunes, all fitting together in that exuberant whole we call World Music.
Bill Taylor’s music styles range from bluegrass and old-time to jazz, and are enriched by his expressive vocals. He is one of the most respected builders of quality mountain dulcimers, and his instruments can be found in the hands of many satisfied dulcimer players.
Lois Hornbostel is one of the country's best known mountain dulcimer performers and teachers. Her repertoire includes old-time fiddle tunes learned from North Carolina string bands, traditional Irish music gleaned from Irish jam sessions in New York City, as well as waltzes and two-steps learned from Cajun musicians in Louisiana.
Anne Lough is a singer, performer, instructor and recording artist whose programs have delighted and inspired North Carolinians of all ages through the Mountain Arts Program and the North Carolina Arts Council Touring Artist Program. Anne performs on both the hammered and mountain dulcimers as well as guitar and autoharp
