Take a walk in Meeks Park learning about our local trees and habitat and Help Habitat for Humanity build another house for a local family.
Local naturalist, Elaine Delcuze, will lead two interpretive walks of moderate length in Meeks Park to identify the trees and plants, their significance to our region, and their natural and cultural historic value to the area.
Walk One: In the main park along the upper woodland trail is 10:00-11:30am
Walk Two: On the Senior Center and NGTC side along the lower river edge trail - 1:00-2:30pm
