Green bean lovers will have a great time at the 2011 Green Bean Festival in Downtown Blairsville.
Look for Miss Bean Sprout, Outdoor Square Dances, Canning Plant Tours, Green Bean Pizza-Eating Contests, Recipe Contests, Youth Talent Competition, Canning Contest, Awards Ceremony, Misty Mountain Quilt Guild's Exhibit & Lessons, Going Green Expo, Tractor Show, Butt-Mock House & Payne Cabin Tours, Farm Animals, Kids' Interactive Area, Live Entertainment, Stringing, Snapping, Looking, Cooking, and more!
Free shuttle service between the Old Courthouse, Civic Center, Canning Plant, and Mountain Life Museum will be available.
