In the pre-dawn darkness of Easter morning at 7:00 a.m. we invite you to join with us at Meeks Park in Blairsville to Celebrate Jesus, our Savior, giving thanks for His Resurrection.

This Easter Vigil, which includes Scripture readings and hymns, will be led by people of Mountain Of Life Lutheran (ELCA) and Mountain Presbyterian (USA) Churches. We will recall our Baptism in Christ and share in Communion. As dawn breaks over the water at the junction of Butternut Creek and the Nottely River, we will rejoice in the Light of our World and the new life we have through Him. Following worship, we will share in a continental breakfast at the Park's pavilion near the Children's Memorial Garden.

Location

Meeks Park is off of Highway 515 West of the traffic light of Highway 19/129 across from North Georgia Tech. When you enter the park, look for the luminaries that will mark the path to worship. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held under shelter #2 near the parking lot. Bring your lawn chair if you wish to sit.
