"Hear from the Stone Whisperer"
The Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild is holding the monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2011
at 6:00pm/social and at 6:30pm/speaker at their Artisan Centre, located at 308 BIg Sky Drive, Hiawassee, GA.
The October speaker is stone carver Juanita Greenspan from Topton, N.C. Greenspan will discuss her techniques and how the stone "speaks" to her as she carves so she doesn't have a preconceived idea of a project until she's into the carving. Her work is unique and appreciated by the art community as she has been in galleries and shows around the south for the past six years.
