Imagine this scene: You’re at home or at work, you want to have a harmonious conversation with your spouse, your child, your parent or your co-worker.  Out of the blue, they say or do something unexpected, and faster than the blink an eye, you feel hurt or angry. Your desire for a peaceful interaction just went south. Tension builds within you and between you. You emotionally withdraw, or you get angry, or you argue, none of which helps. But that’s your automatic response to protect yourself.

How can you go from a reactive conversation to a productive conversation that opens your hearts?

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

1. Manage your own reactions when you get upset.
2. Stay centered when someone else is upset with you.
3. Lead a conversation so there is more likelihood of opening your hearts.
4. Set boundaries to take care of your self instead of allowing abuse.
