CAPTURE THE MOMENT: THE WORLD AWAITS by Dr. Cliff and Mid Brock

Capture your travels by creating a pictorial book. Students should be able to create their own “picture book” that is easy to read and captures their travel experiences after high interaction and class discussion. They will discuss creating a layout page and share the “dos and don’ts” approach.

Mid Brock is a retired college professor of sociology. She taught in Italy for the University System of Georgia student study abroad program, and she was a Fulbright Study Scholar to Brazil. She has published several articles on teaching methodology and has been recognized for creativity in teaching. She is a Rotarian. She has traveled to ~65 countries and all seven continents.

Dr. Cliff Brock is a retired college and university professor of journalism and advertising. He was president of Bainbridge College in the University System of Georgia. He published widely in the area of technology in newspaper and has published several pieces of software. He was named Professor of the Year at Pima College in Tucson, Arizona. He, too, has traveled to approximately 65 countries. He was an exchange student while in high school to West Germany.
