Annual Independence Day Fireworks presented by Suches Fire Department
Festivities will start around 7:00pm at the Suches Community Center for hot dogs, soft drinks and snacks and the chance to meet friends, old and new. Afterwards, gather on the field behind Woody Gap School to watch the skies light up over Suches.Back again this year will be a duck race in the creek that runs behind the school with the winning duck receiving a prize. Sponsored by the Gaddistown Homemakesrs and the proceeds from the duck race will be to support their local civic activities.
Also planned will be patriotic and old time mountain music both recorded (hopefully) live featuring local musicians.
