Leadership and Management Skills Course

Free Leadership Seminar at the Union County Library

On Monday, June 18, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., the Tri-State Business Women in conjunction with the Mountain Regional Library System, will be presenting a FREE seminar:  A Roadmap:  "Exploring Vital Management & Leadership Skills".  There is no charge for this seminar, and the public is invited.

This Two-hour course is a discussion of basic Leadership and Management skills.  The course highlights all the important areas of management, and offers an opportunity for participation.  Attendees' ideas and experiences will be sought.

Areas to be covered are Planning, Building a Business, and Organization and Protection of the Business.  Goals and Objective settings will also be presented.  Joe Ruf, who is a volunteer with SCORE (part of the US Small Business Administration), will be leading this class.  Joe has extensive experience in the business management field, and to hear him present at this seminar is an opportunity not to be missed by anyone who has a business, or is thinking of starting a business.  Even if you don't have employees, the leadership skills that Joe will be teaching are invaluable for your own personal motivation and success.
