Joy of Learning is a one-room schoolhouse nestled on eighty acres at 318 Frank Martin Road, Blairsville, Georgia. Dr. Rhonda Joy Vansant and her husband, Dr. John Vansant, built this schoolhouse as part of The Rhonda Joy Edwards Vansant Foundation 501(c)3. Their mission is to provide leadership and support for the development of nurturing supportive educational settings where students of all ages can experience joy in learning and opportunities for healthy intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual growth.
The Open House will be on Thursday, May 16th, and our current students will be present. Dr. Joy Vansant and her associate teacher, Mrs. Paula Jean Craig Redditt, will be available to answer questions and provide a tour of the school.
Please accept our invitation to drop-in for a short visit between 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or that evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
She is currently providing private tutoring/teaching for homeschooled students in grades K-12. There are several openings for additional students for the 2013-2014 school year.
