FIND Outdoors is pleased to present the first-ever lecture series at Brasstown Bald! Join us on Saturday, April 11th at 2:00 pm at Brasstown Bald as we welcome Marcus and Whitney Edwards of Rome, Georgia’s BirdNirds, to share with us the fascinating lives of some of Georgia’s most recognizable birds! BirdNirds will explore Georgia’s seven species of woodpeckers, including the Downy, Hairy, Red-headed, Red-bellied, Pileated, Northern Flicker, and Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker. They will discuss identification, behavior, nesting, and migration of these fascinating birds. Following the presentation, join them for Woodpecker Trivia to test your knowledge!
