Dreams Can Come True Have you ever had a wonderful dream and managed to make it come true? Debbie Rodby has! She will be the featured presenter at the Tri-County Women's Connection luncheon at Monet's Café at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 3rd. Debbie and her husband, Jim, moved to Murphy, NC, after he retired from the phone company in Tallahassee, FL in 2004. They have six grandchildren who they loved to spend time with and entertain, but they found it very expensive to try to do that together. Debbie and Jim then decided to create an affordable family friendly place where adults and children alike could have fun and make memories. That dream became reality as they built WagonMaster Adventure Ranch together. They cut and milled trees off of their 72 acres, to create an old fashioned rustic ambiance at the ranch. They built everything there from the ground up by themselves! The ranch was able to open in 2010 with a gem mine, paintball and air-soft BB shooting galleries, mini golf, wagon rides, and for young children, a bounce castle and toddler car track. Over the years they added gold mining and a skeet and pistol range. They also have cabins, camping and RV sites, as well as a meditation park. Jim passed away from cancer in December, 2010. Debbie was blessed to continue Jim's WagonMaster legacy. She will tell us all about the WagonMaster Ranch experience at the TCWC luncheon. Music will be provided by Jerri Ann King of Blairsville. She is an LPN, and the founder and Executive Director of Healing Hands Community Clinic, a health care facility for the uninsured on Brackett's Way in Blairsville. Jerri Ann enjoys singing and playing the guitar. She will entertain us with two songs at the luncheon. Janet McGraw of Roswell, GA, will be the speaker at the luncheon. She will tell us her story, Finally! I Got What I Wanted and So Much More! During high school and college she planned what she wanted out of life, but it didn't turn out the way she planned. Janet enjoys music and hiking. She has also traveled extensively. Please make your reservations to attend by Monday, February 1st, and bring a friend or two! The cost of $11.00 is all inclusive.
