TRI-COUNTY WOMEN’S CONNECTION LUNCHEON BINGO FUN, PRIZES, FOOD AND INSPIRING SPEAKER

Ladies, it may be cold outside in February, but it will be warm and toasty at the Thursday, February 19, 2026 TCWC Ladies Luncheon at the Pat Haralson Memorial Civic Center, 165 Wellborn Street in Blairsville. Doors open for check-in at 11:15 and our program begins at noon, ending at 2pm. Invite a friend or two – they will be glad you did! Reservations and pre-payment information below. First, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch of Salisbury Steak with Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable, Dessert, Tea and Water. Then it’s time to play BINGO! Cards are free and there will be prizes for the winners. Our speaker, Frieda Dixon, calls Acworth, GA home. She was raised in New York State but moved to the South and graduated from Massey Business College. Frieda began her writing career twenty years ago and is an author of two books. Her memoir is entitled Born Three Times. Frieda and her husband have published his life story, Chasing a Whirlwind. Her blog entitled “Two Late Bloomers” inspires people to discard the stereotypes of the senior adult years. She enjoys her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to six adorable little ones. She loves collecting cranberry glass. Frieda’s inspiring story, “Three Amazing Gifts and a Second Chance at Life”, covers a 20-year period of trials that tested her and how her life changed despite overwhelming odds.
