The Union County Anti-Drug Coalition will be hosting a Community Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Union County Community Center. The program begins at Noon and will end no later than 12:55 p.m. Early arrivals can begin eating lunch between 11:30 a.m. and Noon. Lunch is provided at no charge to attendees by the UCADC.
The event is open all those in Union County who have an interest in learning about the activities and plans of the UCADC, getting the most up-to-date information concerning illegal drugs and illegal use of prescription pills locally and nationally, and what is being done to bring awareness in the community.
Recently, more than 200 students from the Union County Middle School 7th Grade went through the Union County Anti-Drug Drama at the old Fort Sorghum. It was eye opening for the students, who were very attentive and involved. The UCADC Community Meeting and Lunch will present photos of that event and other activities.
Those attending will be entered into a drawing for many door prizes.
